I’ve spent the last 30 years on the front line creating decisive, high impact strategies that drive purposeful business and enhance performance in challenging, high growth and culturally diverse environments.
Most comfortable in highly demanding situations that require a ‘whole business view’ and a clear grasp of context, I love connecting people, organisations, and ideas to get the best things done right.
I’ve worn many hats, and have been fortunate to hold a number of senior roles, working with wonderful people and great organisations.
As Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Featurespace I implemented a transformational growth marketing strategy, and helped the wider business leadership team develop process, structure and mindset to deliver operational excellence. As part of the leadership team at Careem, I helped deliver the US$3.1 billion acquisition by Uber, and led the refreshed SuperApp positioning strategy. When Partner at the strategic communications firm Brunswick, I worked with a wide variety of international businesses and organisations on M&A, reputation and crisis programmes.
The formative years of my life were spent serving as an officer with the British Army leaving at the rank of Major. In 2003, I spent a year studying for an MBA with Cranfield University. I was made an MBE in the 2007 New Year’s Honours List for exemplary leadership.
